Hi all,

On a Ryzen AI Max (Strix Halo) laptop the ParaView GUI hangs as soon as anything translucent has to be rendered with depth peeling enabled.

This happens every time I apply Clip or Slice, because the plane widget is translucent. As soon as I apply the filter the GUI freezes without any error message and has to be killed. The same thing happens without any filter if I just set Opacity = 0.5 on the Wavelet. Loading and rendering opaque datasets works fine, with hardware acceleration.

Note: in pvpython (same machine, same GPU, on-screen window) the same pipeline, including a vtkImplicitPlaneWidget2, renders fine. The hang only happens in the Qt GUI.

Disabling depth peeling is a working workaround. Any ideas on how to solve it?

Thanks!
