# Add logo to vts output file

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to pack a logo into the “.vts” while writing the structural grid file so it will be shown in the paraview? Or can I only add the logo using the paraview itself?

If it is possible? Could you please help me understand how?

VTK files store only data - you cannot add additional information to them. You could add a string field member to your data to add some sort of information if you want.  
That will be stored in the file. There is a Logo filter that allows you to add a logo in your view. That would be saved when you save the paraview state file.
