# Animating volume opacity

Hi,

I am rendering a scene which is combination of volume and different poly data. I have designed transfer function which controls opacity of wanted values but would like to further reduce overall opacity of volume once I am rendering close-up within the volume.

What would be the way to control overall volume opacity in animation?
