# Bug in STEP reader's \`Read Wire\` option?

Below is a STEP file of a knuckle geometry. Here’s what it looks like rendered in Coreform Cubit:

And here’s what it looks like in ParaView if I `Read Wire` and then `Extract Cells by Type` for surfaces and lines (state file at the bottom).

It looks like the lines terminate prematurely (or start late?) and some curves don’t even exist at all.
