# calculate area of cells?

Hello,  
I have a simulation in openfoam, vtkMultiblockDataSet with only load the internal mesh, when I use Cell size filter over the source of the reader (.foam on the pipeline browser) and check to calculate the area but when I visualize the area cell field, it is 0 everywhere (the volume is also checked and correctly calculated).  
I am missing something? what I would like to get is the sum of the area of each face of the cell for each cell
