# Can I know why the plugin is not built during the Paraview build process?

When using the site method above on Ubuntu, some plugins in Paraview do not build.
what’s the problem?
The currently used Ubuntu uses 22.04LTS.

Per [https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/blob/master/Documentation/dev/build.md#plugin-settings](https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/blob/master/Documentation/dev/build.md#plugin-settings), you’ll need to set `PARAVIEW_PLUGIN_ENABLE_` to `ON` to enable individual plugins. Check those settings first.

Not sufficient.
My custom plugin still is not build this way
