# Cannot use any filter when reading .msh file using GmshIO plugin

I’m trying to visualize a .msh file (generated by Gmsh) with GmshIO plugin. The mesh can be displayed, but all filters are disabled (shown in the below screenshot).

Are there any specific steps to activate filters in this case?

**Additional info**

OS: macOS 12.2.1, M1  
Paraview: version 5.10.0  
Gmsh: version 4.9.4

press Apply.
