# Cannot work remotely due to Xquartz

Hi,  
I am using a Mac with BigSur version 11.2.3. I used to work with paraview remotely and it worked fine, since I installed Xquartz. Now, when I try to connect paraview gives the following error:  
**Could not receive tag**. 1010580540  
**Endian handshake failed**.

And in my remote I can see the following error message:  
/usr/lib/ssh/ssh-askpass: line 47: /usr/lib/ssh/x11-ssh-askpass: No such a file or directory.

Could you please help me? Thanks in advance!

Searching for the error message returns some suggestions - this does not seem to be a paraview issue but rather an ssh issue.

Also you could try nomachine for remote connection instead of ssh + x11. The drawback is that the free version allows only one user on the remote machine.
