# Colorbar: indicate the out-of-bounds values with triangular arrows

Hi all,

is there a way in ParaView to indicate the out-of-bounds values with a triangular arrow at the top and bottom of the colorbar after rescaling to a custom data range?

I am looking for something similar to the _extend=‘both’_ property in Python - cf. with the example below:

Available in the color map editor advanced options, AboveRangeColor, BelowRangeColor.

That’s what I was searching for (even though I personally prefer a triangular shape).
