What does the connectivity filter do? Mind giving me an example? @cory.quammen

Thanks,

Alan

Alan,

In my experience, the connectivity filter identifies unique connected regions of a single mesh entity and then assigns a region id to (I think) each node. For instance, a single STL file that contains an assembly of parts would have each disconnected part identified, allowing the user to color by part id or apply another filter to hide certain parts. We also use this filter to find and show voids in parts we’ve CT scanned.
