Hi all,

I am studying a downward facing step in 3D. The transverse direction is periodic. I would like to create 2D streamlines of my data.

Currently I use:
Temporal statistics to get a temporal average of the velocity and then I apply the StreamTracer filter but the obtained results are a bit messy:

I guess I should have more saved instant to obtain clearer streamlines but is there a way of improving the visualisation of theses streamlines? Maybe averaging in the transverse direction? How can I do it?

Thanks for your help 😉
