# display text in 3D

The simplest way to go is to use Text or 3D text source.

I managed to do this using Selection to display the text:

Please note you need to create a selection to display the labels

hi, My version is paraview-6.0.0-RC1, and it crashes immediately upon opening. What version are you using?

Works fine in ParaView 6.0.1, make sure to point the data correctly.

I find it strange. The process is the same as yours, but when I open your option, it shows the text at the point. When I open another option separately, the text doesn’t change.
