# Easiest Volumetric Dataset Type to Manually Create

Hey y’all, I have some simple 3d data (x,y,z points with a value at each point). That I would like to load on top of another dataset that I have.

What is the easiest file type (and hopefully someone has a decent example), that I can convert this data to easily load it into paraview?

.csv would be the simplest format, .vtp would be the best format.
