# EGL on AMD\_INSTINCT\_MI200

Is EGL supported on AMD gpus? I have compiled v5.11-RC2 without particular issues (AMD clang version 12.0.0), yet I cannot start pvserver. I have Epyc nodes with 8 GPUs (AMD\_INSTINCT\_MI200).

running ./vtkProbeOpenGLVersion-pv5.11  
results in the following:  
`95D83B00]vtkOpenGLRenderWindow.c:475 ERR| vtkEGLRenderWindow (0x2537a0): GLEW could not be initialized: Missing GL version`

Thanks in advance for any tip
