# Export Inspector : Removed in 5.8 ?

That is correct. It’s been replaced by **Extractors**.

If you’re keen, check this [discussion](https://discourse.paraview.org/t/extracts-exports-and-catalyst-python-scripts/4569) out. The extractors are documented in the Guide [here](https://docs.paraview.org/en/latest/UsersGuide/savingResults.html#extractors).

The Cinema tutorial will be updated soon to reflect the new workflow.
