# Export slice manipulate and re-import

Hey there,

I am looking for a way to export a slice, manipulate the U\_Magnitude value and re-import it again.

So I exported a .csv of the slice and re-imported it now I get a grid with the point values:

Is there a way to change this to the orignal way a slice is shown in paraview like this:

Or do you have any other idea how I can get this result?

Export to .vtp instead.
