# Extract number of cells in a volume mesh

Hello,  
I am using paraview to visualise data from simulations done in OpenFOAM, a CFD toolbox,  
I am looking to extract the number of cells inside my mesh to I can add it to my python script created by trace tool.  
I can see the number of mesh in information but I do not understand how can i export this data.
