# extract transient line data

I have a bunch of VTU files with 2D data on them, each representing a different time step. I want to specify several lines and extract transient data of the pressure, velocity etc. preferably, i would get sepearate csv files for each property with the data tabulated (for example- columns are different time steps, and rows are different points along the line. or vice versa).

I assume this requires some combination of “plot data over a line” and “plot data over time”. is that correct? what would the exact methodology be? I am working with Paraview 5.9.1 through the GUI.
