# Extracting the midpsan for a centrifugal pump

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to extract the midspan (or any specified span) surface for a centrifugal pump system that comprises of an inducer and impeller. I’m familiar with doing this in ANSYS CFD Post, where you define a turbosurface, and the software then extracts a continuous surface (see attachment), which is quite convenient.

This is the middle surface between the bushing and the peripheral surface blade machine.
