# 'Failed to convert servermanager XML' error with ubuntu 20 and wsl

Hi,

I have this error on installation which seems to be well known but I don’t manage to fix my pb. This problem occurs in a plugin like in this topic:

but I don’t know how to exclude that plugin (ParametricSurfaces in this case)

It is not, if it was, there would be an issue on our gitlab.

Is this what you are refering to ?

Which problem ? Share OS information and steps to reproduce as well as error log.

ParaView does not officially support wsl

Thank for your answer, I finally install it on windows and it works perfectly
