# finding the coordinates of 1 particle in the system

I have a model of particles falling from a hopper into a box.  
I have paused the model at a certain time step and I want to find the coordinates of one particular particle in the model, in order to use these coordinates in a separate code.  
Can i do this in paraview?

Yes, using the “Hover points on” selection feature.
