Hi all,
I wonder if there is a way to generate vtk files to be viewed in ParaView for hexagonal meshes and how can I do it?
Thanks in advance

yep, you can always create polyhedral cells (though you may want to write those in the xml-based vtu file format). Funnily enough, I just posted a very similar question (on mixed meshes containing both polyhedral and standard cells) just a couple of minutes before your question, that discussion may be also useful for you (if somone answers that is).
