# grow selection button: change number of grew cells

Hello, I’m using grow selection button to get a cell’s neighboring cells, but current default setting gives me more than I want, I’m wondering if there is any way to control the number of growing cells?

Or, if there is any other way I can easily get a cell’s neighboring cells, that’s also very helpful for me.

HI @Pauly1

The grow selection grows only over one layer of cells, I’m not sure what you are looking for here.  
Maybe share a screenshot ?
