# GUI freezing when loading large dataset, another thread for busy indication?

Dear All,
Paraview GUI will freezing when loading large dataset, for some new users, they thought program is dead, and dont know it is busy.
I know we have the progress bar at the bottom of GUI, but it is sometimes not updated even the function update progress is called…
So, is it possible to create a new thread to show something as busy indicator, make some new users know it is in normal process but not dead…
any ideas?

I’m afraid this is not supported and will likely never be with the current ParaView architecture.
