I recently installed 5.7.0 on my new windows laptop. After I load the objects and click apply, the GUI resolution drops becomes unusable. Interestingly rendering resolution and location stays put and is ok.

Has anyone run into this before?

Yes, this is a known issue with Intel graphics and specific driver versions. The bug is [https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/issues/19364](https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/issues/19364)

If your configuration is different, if you could add it to the bug that would be great.

A work-around if you also have an nvidia or AMD card is to use it with ParaView.

HTH,

Aron

I am having the same issue with a brand new Dell G7 laptop which has an Nvidia Geforce RTX graphics card.

Use your nvidia card instead of the chipset.
