# How to create a global variable?

This example gives me a full understanding on how to AddFieldArrays filer in ParaView.

I am not sure if that was a typo or the older versions of ParaView didn’t implement that but the Python Calculator has “Field Data” option for array association.

So, to answer my question: The easiest way to create a field data (also know as global data) in my case is to use the Python calculator with the option “Field Data” for Array association as shown below:

But I think this works with input arrays that are already Field data such as time.
