How can I display different pieces in the file “new3\_0.pvtu”
[new3\_0.zip](https://discourse.paraview.org/uploads/short-url/8i1ZYVjDDgfHk0p1Ww7spT8pupK.zip) (143.9 KB)
in Paraview?

There are two pieces in the file. I have been trying to use Paraview to visualize this dataset, but I am having difficulty coloring each piece of the dataset with a different color.

Could you please provide me with some guidance on how to color each piece of the “new3\_0.pvtu” dataset with a different color in Paraview? Any information or assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

By examining the connectivity of the nodes with the `Connectivity` filter, each piece can be colored by the **RegionId** variable.

When the server is start with one process, everything is ok.

When I start the server by `./mpiexec -n 5 ./pvserver`, the filter seems to not work.
