# how to install on Win 10 without admin rights

Hello,  
I would like to install Paraview on my work laptop. However I do not have admin rights. When I run the “exe” installer the win10 admin request password blocks any progress.  
is there any reason the EXE needs to run as admin. I know some software offer the option of “install for me only”.

I am guess the answer is “tough luck” or “ask your admin” but if you had to deal with my admin you would not.

Thanks, that seems to work. took a while to dload and unzip but got there in the end. was able to load a sample visualization.
