# How to perform spanwise Averaging of 3D unstructured data-set to get 2D plot?

Hello all,  
I am simulating flow over an Airfoil. The grid is 3D, unstructured and in ensight format. I was wondering if somebody could help me with how to perform the spanwise averaging in Paraview?
