We have a time sequence of some polyline points and cells. Tracking the motion of cell centers is straightforward, we can first apply the ‘cell center’ filter and then apply the TemporalParticlesToPathlines filter.

Is there a filter that allows us to track the motion of certain points within each cell, not necessarily the centers? For example, we may want to track the motion of points where the cells intersect with the z=0 plane at t=0. The ‘slice’ or ‘clip’ do not seem to work.

Thank you!

I think that by using a dedicated selection query, this should be possible.

Take a look into Edit -\> FindData.
