# How to unselect cells?

I am selecting cells based on Find Data, but I want to unselect some cells manually.  
Can it be done?  
Also can I combine selecting manually with Find Data?

I’m afraid this is not supported, you need to first ExtractSelection, then select only the cells you want.

Actually after extraction, the Cell ID will change and I am trying to find a way to preserve the original ID.  
I think the only way will be to do it separately.

Simple, add a GenerateIds filter first.

Filters → Alphabetical → GenerateIds
