# I'm trying to install ParaView but do not know where to start.

Windows

- Download the latest binary release of ParaView from [https://paraview.org/download](https://paraview.org/download)
- Download the one **without mpi** in the name that finish with the `.exe` extension
- Execute the installer and follow the steps
- Double click on the ParaView shortcut on the desktop

Linux:

- Download the latest binary release of ParaView from [https://paraview.org/download](https://paraview.org/download)
- Extract it to a folder
- Open the `bin` folder and double click on `paraview` executable

macOS

- Download the latest binary release of ParaView from [https://paraview.org/download](https://paraview.org/download)
- Execute the installer and install the application
- Double click on the ParaView application
