Hello dear ParaView developers!

I want to add some labels to some structrural components of the model, for them to be present in the render view.

I dont know how coordinate axes are implemented and whether they are the part of the RenderView, but the way the labels of the axes are displayed, is completely satisfiable

Thank you very much

> Hi, I have the following use case: I have an OpenFOAM case, which I am reading through the native Paraview reader that treats it as a multiblock dataset. Is there a way to show in the RenderView some kind of ‘tooltip’ that shows the name of each block, e.g. when I select it in the Multiblock Inspector? I know that the OpenFOAM plugin adds this functionality, but I don’t find a lot of sense in recompiling all of Paraview just for that. Moreover, this could be interesting to apply to multiblock d…

As stated in this thread, this is not possible currently, but this is an interesting idea! Do not hesitate to reach out if you want this to be implemented.

Well, if it is not implemented, how could one implement it?

Or maybe are there any things that look rather similarly to that but are simpler to implement?

You may want to look at the Selection Display Inspector. Being able to display block names may be implemented in a similar way.
