after sourcing openfoam (. ~/OpenFOAM-v2412/etc/bashrc) then trying to open paraview I get this error
~/ParaView-5.13.3-MPI-Linux-Python3.10-x86\_64/bin/paraview-real:error while loading shared libraries: libhdf5.so.103: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but if I opened a new shell and open paraview without sourcing openfoam it works normally

Then thats a openfoam issue, not a ParaView issue. You may want to avoid modifying your environnements variables.

Sourcing OpenFOAM changes LD\_LIBRARY\_PATH which conflicts with ParaView. So you can either run paraveiw in a different shell or you can run paraview in a cleaned environment with

```auto
env -u LD_LIBRARY_PATH Path/to/ParaView/Installation/bin/paraview
```
