Hi!

What is the current way to load and apply a PVCC with pvpython?
I found:
[https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/paraview/205684-scripting-trace-cameraview.html](https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/paraview/205684-scripting-trace-cameraview.html)
Is there a less verbose way to achieve this than the script from [https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/paraview/205684-scripting-trace-cameraview.html#post712100](https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/paraview/205684-scripting-trace-cameraview.html#post712100)?
It would be nice to have something like `LoadCamSettings` (like `LoadState`, `LoadPlugin`). This would allow to take screen-shots of the a PVSM from different cam positions, which I would like to add as an option to e.g. [https://github.com/romangrothausmann/ParaView\_scripts/blob/a05d7347c8e39ed453e287de6ce4dfee7ca9eaeb/render-view.py](https://github.com/romangrothausmann/ParaView_scripts/blob/a05d7347c8e39ed453e287de6ce4dfee7ca9eaeb/render-view.py)

Many thanks for any help or hints.
Roman

While the code from [https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/paraview/205684-scripting-trace-cameraview.html#post712100](https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/paraview/205684-scripting-trace-cameraview.html#post712100) works fine ([https://github.com/romangrothausmann/ParaView\_scripts/blob/75392d42fe42dab54208cd1aa2175db1dec619f5/render-view.py#L11-L85](https://github.com/romangrothausmann/ParaView_scripts/blob/75392d42fe42dab54208cd1aa2175db1dec619f5/render-view.py#L11-L85)), it would be nice to have such a function from the PV-API, especially if some things change in future.

Indeed, not supported through a simple method yet. You could open an issue on our gitlab.
