# MEDReader reload

Hello. Windows version of RC2 doesn’t store any settings. Every time I run it, I have default settings of all I changed before. Integration with MED reader has the same bugs a two versions before.

Hello,
reload button always causes to crash the program. Pipeline is refreshed with the same file, but all is missing from 3D viewport.

when I either reload files from disk by clicking right mouse button on first position in the tree or I’m using the reload button.

BTW I’m not using Salome Platform for post processing. There are other issues with the software. I was hoping you coudl do something about the reload function. It’s annoying when you have to recreate all the filters just to see the outcome again.

If you are talking about the small double blue arrow in the MEDReader, it is part of the MEDReaderPlugin which is developped by Salome and shipped with ParaView binary release for easier communication between pure ParaView and Salome.

Alternatively, use the File -\>Reload Files feature of ParaView, or do not use MED format but another format.

Sorry, I didn’t notice you replied. All is related to vtkMEDreader issues. I sent an extensive post on Salome’s github. Basically this happens with all the MED files, and MED is the only format I can use with Code\_Aster for storing results.
