# Not able to import paraview.simple module on windows

I did not know of `pvpython.exe`. Thanks. I will look into that. My initial problem with `from paraview.simple import *` seemed to be resolved, however I got stuck with another problem as I have explained [here](https://discourse.paraview.org/t/render-causes-a-non-responding-visualization-toolkit-win32opengl-on-windows/538). Non responding VTK window!
