Dear All,

I have a big trouble with ParaView 5.7.0 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. When I would like to change opacity of the surfaces imported from .stl the surface immediately disappears.

Before updating the OS from Ubuntu 18.04 LTS I did not faced this problem (ParaView 5.4.1 was used). Reason of the update was that I would like to use the Gaussian Points representation of point Cloud in ParaView 5.7.0.

I am relatively new Linux user thus I do not have strong base knowledge related to Ubuntu.

Thanks in advance, Feri

Please try with our last release of ParaView:

Alternatively, make sure you are using your GPU.

It is interesting, but 5.9.0 was downloaded, then I tryed to start version 5.4.1 which was worked well and I could use the Gaussian Points representation as well. I do not really understand what is happened, but now it is working…
