Hey all,

Just wondering if OSPRay and OptiX uses their own default shaders or do they still use the same shaders from VTK. I am trying to do a shader replacement while having ray tracing on however, it does not work leading me to believe that the back ends are using a different set of default shaders.

Yes, they use their own ray-tracing engine to create the final rendered image. The OpenGL (GLSL) shader substitutions in VTK will be ignored by OSPRay and OptiX.
