# Overlay a line plot on a 3D slice in Paraview

I would like to plot a line plot similar to what is shown here in this discussion. I followed the procedure but am missing some thing here. Could any one help on this

I followed the procedure but I am unable to see the line as shown in the render image in that example.  
The final image posted in the example.

could we really plot such lineplots over the volume or a surface in the renderview window or pane as shown in that example?

Looks like the op saved the chart to a png and show it as a texture on top of the volume.

Could you elaborate on this process I don’t see the texture filter anywhere in the filters.

It is a representation property.
