Dear Support!
The current version of numpy that is bundled with paraview (6.0.1) is 1.26.4, which is more than two years old and I think it is at EOL status now.
The latest numpy is 2.4.3, and I see that there are nice performance improvements and lot of features in the 2.x series to catchup.
I develop plugins targeting the release binaries (using the kitware provided docker images). This forces me to set up my custom python virtual environment to match that older version of numpy inside paraview. Just wondering…are there any plans to upgrade the bundled NumPy in the paraview release binary?

Indeed, we should update it. Perhaps for ParaView 6.2 - it’s too late for ParaView 6.1.
