# Paraview crashes randomly

Hello,

I am currently working on a case.foam file that has about 25million cells. Whenever I work on data sets around the same size, Paraview suddenly crashes randomly (does not depend on which tool I use). Although I have the crash recovery settings turned on, I do not know why this occurs and I would like some help resolving this issue.

Also, I want to improve the general speed/performance whenever I use paraview but I don’t know where to start. I checked that my PC only uses CPU when I use paraview and I was wondering if using GPU would be faster. If so, how do I set it as such?
