# Paraview crashes when reading ADIOS BP file

When I try to open the attached BP5 Adios2 file it just crashes with a segfault (tested with v5.12 and v5.13-RC2).

I just realized that the BP file contained a wrongly named variable: “type” instead of “types”. Now it works fine! However, it would be much more helpful if a more meaningful error message were provided in such cases, rather than simply causing a segmentation fault.
