# Paraview doesnt recognize multiblocks in this .cgns file but it's okay in FLUENT

Why ParaView is not recognizing multiblock in this .cgns file?

Hello @John_Hayward,

Thanks for sharing your data. Do you mean that you were expecting to see the different element nodes below as blocks?

If yes, that is unfortunately not how the CGNS reader currently works.  
All cells are read and created as one mesh only.

Separating the mesh according to the CGNS nodes definition would require some modifications in the reader.
