# Paraview not displaying data

Hi Guys
I am using ParaView5.7.0 on Ubuntu20.04 to display results from my LIGGGHTS simulation.
I am currently using one of the LIGGGHTS examples.
The problem solves, however when trying to open it on ParaView, nothing is displayed.
I can click on the various menu buttons but the viewing window is jammed and does not respond.
What could the issue be? and how can I resolve it?

please try with last version of ParaView 5.9.1

Why does the command “sudo apt-get install paraview” not install the latest version? Every time I do it, I just get ver 5.7

go to [paraview.org/download](http://paraview.org/download) to download our last binary release.
