# ParaView User Day Europe 2026

Kitware is delighted to announce the fourth edition of the ParaView User Day Europe! 🎉

Type: On-site event  
Date: Thursday, September 24th, 2026 (and extra events the day before and the day after, see below)  
Location: Normal Sup’ College of Lyon – Descartes Campus.  
Price : [Free for all, registration required](https://forms.kitware.eu/paraview-userday-europe-2026)

🆕 We’ll organize a ParaView Hackathon the day before (September 23rd afternoon) for developers, and a Workshops & Demos event the day after (September 25th morning) for everyone, at the Kitware Europe offices in Lyon.

So, almost 3 days entirely devoted to ParaView:

- Attend on-site to meet the ParaView European team and the community, learn from the experts and shape the future of scientific visualization
- Propose a presentation for the plenary session day to share you work
- Participate in a workshop or propose a demo
- Organize a workshop!

Workshop topics that can be organized (depending on the interests of the participants):

- Python Scripting
- Advanced Rendering
- In-situ analysis with Catalyst
- Web visualization & trame
- Point Cloud processing & LidarView
- Topology-based analysis
- AI techniques in ParaView
- …

This event is a unique opportunity to explore ParaView’s latest features and connect with the community, and is also the perfect occasion to highlight your projects. Share your use cases, specific implementations of ParaView, and inspire others. Presentation proposals are warmly welcome!

Please note that this upcoming event has a limited number of seats available. In order to secure your attendance and the quality of the event, we kindly ask that you register online and receive confirmation from the organizers. This confirmation will serve as your official invitation to the conference and will grant you access to all sessions and activities.

No, we do not plan to stream the event.

However, registration is free and we’ll be happy to meet you at our offices 🙂

The program is now available on the website:

- 13 presentations
- 4 workshops (in situ visualization with Catalyst 2, Advanced rendering, python scripting, trame)
- 3 Hackathon activities
- Lots of fun!

small question in regards to the friday workshops, the two sessions will be the same, eg., trame for paraview 9hr and 11hr will be the same? or one will be the continuation of the other?

They will be identical, so that each participant can attend two different sessions.
