# Particle tracer crashing

Hi,

I’m trying to use the particle tracer filter with some ensight gold format data but Paraview is crashing without any error displayed. I have also tried to run it with the --log option but no error is logged. I’m on Windows 10, Paraview 5.13.2, the data was exported from Simerics MP+ to ensight gold format.

The `Particle Tracer` filter in **Ver5.13** seems to be unstable. It did not crash in **Ver6.0** or **Ver5.12**. Please try these versions.

I confirm that I fixed a crash in this filter for 6.0
