# Plot Data Over Time

You’ll need to save the height to a FieldData array using a **Programmable Filter** as I showed in [Measure exact the alpha.phase 1 level](https://discourse.paraview.org/t/measure-exact-the-alpha-phase-1-level/2611/6).
