I am using **Paraview 5.10.0-RC1**. I have a .dat file containing values for 3 variables namely “_Distance_”, “_U\_comp_”, “_U\_exact_”. The 1st row has values of “Distance”, the 2nd has " U\_comp" and the 3rd has “U\_exact”. I want to plot **U\_comp Vs Distance** and **U\_exact Vs Distance** in a _single plot_ but while uploading the .dat file it does not show various fields to be plotted or sometimes the application closes abruptly.
I want to get a plot something like this using Paraview:
 ![t = 0.05](https://discourse.paraview.org/uploads/default/original/2X/8/8b90b1c45ef6966bae7a51a407bc7a7b8a4f0a0e.png)

I am attaching the .dat file for reference. If any change in the format of the file is needed, do suggest. Kindly also suggest how we can plot the data according to the above requirement. Any help would be appreciated. [RK4-NUC6\_wave\_packet\_(F-C-F)\_beta1.5\_t = 0.0.dat](https://discourse.paraview.org/uploads/short-url/tqLKYgTcn135E4LzfGqcKEtfp64.dat) (403.3 KB)

I had to modify you file into a .csv, the Tecplot table reader is segfaulting for some reason

Just open your csv file and plot it in the line chart view
