Hello,
I am analysing the vortices around my geometry using the Gradient Filter. The output looks boxy and discontinous near the geometry (See the reference image). How could I resolve this issue ? The mesh is finer then the boxes I get in the output, so it is probably not a mesh issue. I tried with a fine mesh but same output.

How can I resolve this issue ?

Thanks,
Gaurav

Can you try resampling the data to a uniform grid and then compute the gradients? The **Resample to Image** filter can be used for this purpose. Not sure, but it may help in creating a grid where the gradient calculation might be more consistent. Remember to mark this as a solution if it works for you 🙂 If you arrive at a different solution, please write about your solution here so that it becomes useful for others as well. 🙂
